Phelps Medical Welcomes New Family Doctor

Phelps Medical Group welcomed Dr. Kevin Amthor, D.O., to its medical team on Sept. 2. Dr. Amthor is a board-certified family medicine physician dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals and families across all stages of life.

Dr. Amthor and his wife, Kendra, have been married for 11 years. They recently moved to Holdrege with their four children Nora, Charlie, Jack, and Gemma. He was drawn to Holdrege because of family members who live in Holdrege, and his parents and in-laws also live within a few hours. Amthor’s hometown is Goodland, Kan.

“The other important part of choosing Holdrege was my ability to practice full-spectrum medicine with a great group of providers,” he said.
