With the potential to create hundreds of jobs and position Phelps County as a leader in sustainable energy, the initiative has sparked both excitement and curiosity within the community. PCDC recognizes the importance of keeping residents, stakeholders, and potential investors informed as the project progresses.
The new webpage includes:

- Community Impact: Information on anticipated economic benefits, job creation, and environmental sustainability.
- News and Announcements: Updates on milestones, construction timelines, and community meetings.
- Frequently Asked Questions: Answers to common questions about the project, including details on funding, partnerships, and long-term goals.

A video of the December 17 DG Fuels Town Hall Meeting is also available on the site. At the meeting, DG Fuels CEO Mike Darcy and Nebraska BioEconomy leader Julie Bushell explained the project and answered questions from residents.
A Commitment to Open Communication
“We understand that a project of this scale brings a lot of questions,” PCDC Executive Director Ron Tillery said. “Our goal is to ensure that everyone has access to accurate, up-to-date information and that the community feels involved in this transformative journey.”
The webpage will be regularly updated as the project advances, offering a reliable source of information for residents and businesses. This initiative underscores PCDC’s dedication to building trust and fostering collaboration as Phelps County prepares for an era of growth and innovation.
A Vision for the Future
