PCDC Partners with GROW Nebraska for June 25 Entrepreneur Workshop

    June 17, 2024

Phelps County entrepreneurs are invited to attend a free workshop to learn how content creation and social media strategies can help grow their businesses.

The workshop is hosted by PCDC and presented by GROW Nebraska staff. It will be Tuesday, June 25, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. at the Holdrege Sun Theater & Event Venue in downtown Holdrege.

“Homegrown businesses are the foundation of the local economy,” PCDC Executive Director Ron Tillery said. “We hope this event attracts people who want to start a business or those who have started a business and want to gain new skills or knowledge. It’s also a great opportunity to connect with other business owners and resources.”

The workshop is titled “Crafting Compelling Content & Social Media Strategies.” The presenters are Janell Anderson Ehrke, CEO & Founder of GROW Nebraska; Jodi Bronson, GROW Nebraska Membership & NSBAA Grant Coordinator; and Tonja Hahn, GROW Nebraska Membership Resources Coordinator.

The presentation will delve into the art of crafting compelling content that captivates an audience. Business owners will learn:

    • Essential strategies to create engaging content that resonates with their target demographic, fostering a deeper connection with their brand.
    • Social media tactics tailored to drive foot traffic to their location to convert potential customers into loyal patrons.
    • How to optimize online visibility, leverage geo-location features, and implement effective social media strategies to boost their business's growth and success.

Small business owners, marketing employees, and anyone who wants to grow their business with social media and Google should attend.

GROW Nebraska presents marketing workshops throughout the state on a regular basis in addition to providing three monthly webinars that are free and open to the public. GROW Nebraska is also the sponsor of the highly successful MarkeTech Conference annually in Kearney.  The conference is an affordable marketing with technology and best practices conference that has an attendance of over more than 300 and continues to grow.  The 2025 MarkeTech Conference will be March 26, 2025.

PCDC is dedicated to helping existing businesses thrive and entrepreneurs start strong. For more local entrepreneur resources, visit the PCDC website.
