Operations Manager Hired at Allmand Bros.

Jim Kaplinksi has been hired as the Operations Manager for Allmand Bros./Briggs & Stratton’s Holdrege site.

Jim, who has more than 15 years of operational leadership experience in manufacturing, was scheduled to begin work in Holdrege on May 17.

Jim has worked for the past 15 years at Actuant/Milwaukee Cylinder, where he was responsible for managing assembly, paint, safety, quality, delivery, manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, maintenance and scheduling. Prior to his role at Actuant, Jim was the director of operations at Revtek Inc. and D & S Machine Products, where he was responsible for coordinating and directing the day-to-day activities for all aspects of the business from operations management to sales, personnel staffing, engineering and P&L responsibilities.

Jim has a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering from Western Michigan University. He and his wife, Dianna, will be relocating to Holdrege from Milwaukee. Jim and Dianna have three sons.
