High Demand Jobs Scholarship

The Phelps County Development Corporation, in partnership with the Phelps County Community Foundation, offers a High Demand Job Scholarship. The condition of this scholarship is that you return to Phelps County post education and fill one of our High Demand Jobs for a minimum of one year for every $1,000 awarded.

Phelps County High Demand Jobs Include: Welders, Machinist, Manufacturing Technicians, Electricians, Plumbers, Masonry, Nursing, Dietary Specialists, Deisel Mechanics, CDL, and more!

Eligibility:

• High School Graduate or GED equivalent
• Enrolled(at least half time) in any college, technical, or trade school
• Min. 2.0 GPA
• Pursuing training or education in one the following industries: Manufacturing, Agriculture, Construction Trades, Nursing, Transportation and Mechanics
