Integrated into the community in 1998, the Phelps County Development Corporation has been helping local businesses succeed. In 2000, we helped the Allmand Bros. with a loan, allowing the company to expand.
Over 15 years later and both the PCDC and the Allmand Bros. are successful and expanding. Allmand Bros. was acquired by Briggs & Stratton to diversify Briggs’ product line into job site equipment. The PCDC continues to help new and expanding businesses with gap financing as well as site selection and a small business networking program. By funding the organization in five year increments, we plan on being around to help local businesses for a long time.
