October is Manufacturing Month, and we have reason to celebrate here in Phelps County! Manufacturing is one of the two largest economic drivers in our county.
Did you know that 18 Phelps County manufacturers employ 867 workers for an average of 48 employees per business. To put that economic impact into perspective, consider this. There are more than 675 businesses in Phelps County and fewer than 15 non-manufacturing employers employ more than 40 people!
