PCDC Launches Rebranded Website
August 19, 2020
The Phelps County Development Corporation unveiled a new logo this spring, and now a revamped website has been launched to match the new look.
The website (www.PhelpsCountyNE.com) gives site selectors and information seekers who want to invest in Phelps County the data they need to make informed decisions.
“The revised site is better organized to benefit decision-makers seeking to invest in new development,” PCDC Executive Director Ron Tillery said.
The site contains an abundance of reports and data about Phelps County on everything from the demographics of the people who live in the county to studies on labor availability, market trends and housing.
It also contains detailed information on PCDC’s Iron Horse Industrial Park and other properties for sale or rent in the county.
“Our goal is to provide market data that facilitates the selection of Holdrege or Phelps County by site selectors and business decision-makers,” Tillery said.
The site also highlights PCDC’s programs and grants, such as the GO! DREAM and GO! BUILD programs and incentives for those wishing to open new franchises in the county. Current or future business owners will also find valuable data on retail opportunities based on studies and information gathered through PCDC’s partner Retail Strategies.
The new website more prominently highlights each of the five Phelps County communities with information and history on each community.
Those who speak another language can also read the information on the site as it now contains a translate language option.
Past articles from PCDC newsletters are available on the site, and users can sign up to receive future PCDC communications.
The rebranded look of the website was based on PCDC’s new logo that features a trusted handshake, which Tillery said exemplifies the Nebraska spirit.
“It also tells people that we are good partners and hopefully from that, they draw the conclusion that we are open for business,” he said.
Tillery said even though the refreshed website has officially been launched, he sees it as a work in progress.
“We see it as a never-ending process to ensure up-to-date content is always available,” Tillery said.
The site was designed by Golden Shovel Agency, a company that specializes in websites for economic development agencies. The company has hosted PCDC’s website for many years.
