The University of Nebraska at Kearney is an excellent community resource, located only 31 miles from Phelps County. Employers can benefit by sending their employees here to improve their education. By offering 25 pre-professional programs, 170 undergraduate majors and 34 graduate programs, they make it possible to gain the skills necessary to compete in the global marketplace or meet community demands for skilled workers in a variety of professions.
