Ron Tillery is in the business of making connections.
He made a lasting one with central Nebraska when he moved to Kearney in 1986.
“I felt connected and I felt a sense of ownership to the community, a responsibility to the community that I hadn’t felt before,” Tillery said.
After working in television and economic development for many years, Tillery took on the role of executive director for Phelps County Development Corporation in May.
